Milwaukee GAMMA Arts Scholarship
Milwaukee GAMMA is a non-profit, non-political, organization that welcomes all adults--male, female, gay or gay friendly--for social and community-building activities that help build a positive image within our community. It has existed for over forty years, growing and changing its focus as necessary to keep up with the demands of its membership.
The Milwaukee GAMMA Scholarship was created to provide a self-identified LGBTQ individual with a financial incentive to enhance his or her involvement in the Milwaukee area arts scene, either as a career choice or as a form of enrichment in his/her life, while also giving back in a significant way to the LGBTQ community. Art areas may include, but are not limited to, all aspects of performing arts, visual arts, and creative writing.
The scholarship grant does not need to be used for an academic course of study. The award amount is determined yearly, based on donations and annual membership fees.
